Testimonials

  • Robert is the foundation of the success of NogginLabs, the company I co-founded. In the earliest stages of our growth, Robert's expertise both in the learning and development space and the banking industry pushed our teams to develop industry-leading products and outcomes. Robert has the extremely unique skill of identifying the purpose of projects and the true business outcomes needed to drive success. This is often overlooked in the learning and development space that can be cluttered with "shiny object" projects that don't lead to learner success. In the 40+ years of business in the industry, Robert Baer's influence is best understood in our Foundation of Success mural we had in our office. His name was painted on our walls prominently because of the depth of the trust and guidance he has given our teams to always push for the best outcome. I highly recommend him for any company improvement initiatives.

  • I’ve worked with Robert for nearly 30 years in a number of roles. Time and again I’ve witnessed his ability to identify key issues impacting an organization’s performance, craft solutions unique to their needs, execute strategies for overcoming potential pitfalls and most importantly - navigate it all in an effective and deft way to ultimately move them to their desired outcome.

That said, I would be remiss if I didn’t share what I believe makes Robert such an exceptional resource. I’m not entirely sure how, but he has a deep intuition when it comes to people, both those involved in the work and those that will be impacted by it. This natural ability enables him to anticipate and plan for the one asset that can help or hurt an endeavor. To say he wields this power well is an understatement and alas, often the hinge on which all successful initiatives hang.

Take this uncommon skill, combine it with the breadth and depth of Robert’s experiences and you have an obligation to reach out and explore how he can help your organization.

  • In my 35+ years of knowing Mr. Baer, he has worn many hats in my career: colleague, mentor, manager and coach.

Each role has demonstrated the strengths and assets that are beneficial to any organization to develop, nurture and implement successful outcomes.

As a colleague, Robert welcomed me warmly and ensured me that he was just a call away to assist. As a mentor, he encouraged my growth and provided tools to continued success. As a manager, he stretched me to think out of the box and hone skills that I didn’t realize about myself. As a coach, he listened to my concerns and challenges when I was convinced I couldn’t be an effective facilitator and provided sound advice that has been a part of 25 year career as a behavioral facilitator/consultant.

Robert is an individual that can visualize at 30,000 feet what is needed for a company and then work to implement his plan at 3 feet with all team members to demonstrate a hands on approach.

He wears many hats and they all combine for the betterment of a project, behavioral culture change and/or system operations upgrade.

  • I worked with Robert for many years when I was with Harland Clarke. Robert was always a pleasure to work with and I was always impressed with his attention to detail and his understanding where the gaps and holes were in processes. He understands the need for a bank to balance operational efficiency while also creating a differentiating brand and culture. To this day I call him and ask for his insight. I consider him a mentor, but also an industry expert as it relates to branding, operations, and sales & service.
